Reading 3 chapters of the manhwa, their tragic first life seems like a story of miscommunication or without communication type of relationship that I really hate to read (10 years without communication between a married couple). In her first life it took them 8 years to finally find a solution to bring life back to the land(?not really sure here lol) but by that time it was too late to do anything. She says she knows what she is saying sounds outrageous but she knows the right path to take and all she needs is his help to send an invitation to the right person. It's like one of the comments said: The dukedom barely has any money left and the little they can obtain they badly waste it or when it gets on the hands of the ex-duchess x.x.Īmber proudly tells the duke, "I can help with the food shortages in the East." Amber and Calix are having a luxurious dinner. Amber wonders why Delia is giving her all of this information now but then thinks back that she is more braver then in her 1st life when all she did was cry. They hope that Amber came to change things. Meanwhile the Duke is there watching it all unfold and tells Bella that the only one allowed to touch the dowry is Amber.Īmber's favorite maid, Delia tells Amber that none of the maids want to support Belladonna(old hag ex-duchess) because everything she touches in the Dukedom is controlled by her and she does nothing to help(waste money). Belladonna gets pissed off-about to slap Amber and Delia(maid) steps in to take the hit. Amber straight up tells her I'm the new duchess of this house so back off and she'll speak with her husband regarding her dowry. When she went to check on the maid she bumped into Belladonna(old hag duchess), she mistakes Amber as a new maid and starts to scold her that she needs to be more disciplined. I forgot to mention in chapter 4-5 Amber goes to see the maids because in her first life she met a maid that was always by her side and had her back.
